- Care for high-risk pregnancy and delivery (such as gestational diabetes and preeclampsia)

- Newborn services, including complete pediatric and surgical services, hearing screening and a newborn nursery

Level IV NICU in Charlotte
Presbyterian Medical Center provides an advanced neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with a level IV nursery — the highest level of medical care for newborns and premature infants available.
The nursery, located in Novant Health Hemby Children's Hospital, is staffed 24/7 by a team of expert neonatologists, nurse practitioners and registered nurses.
Our nursery also features sophisticated monitoring equipment, a respiratory lab and dedicated support services, including a pharmacist and child life specialist.
