St. Jude Affiliate Clinic at Novant Health Hemby Children's Hospital is devoted to providing complete care to children and adolescents suffering from cancer or blood disorders. We offer state-of-the-art facilities, and our staff is dedicated to delivering the best care available. Our physicians are board certified in pediatric hematology and pediatric oncology. They are constantly working to stay up-to-date on the very latest treatments and clinical trials.
Our physicians and nurses work closely with your referring physician to make sure every member of your child's medical team understands the diagnosis and course of treatment. We regularly send notes to your primary care physician so that office can continue care once treatment through our office is complete.
Goals of treatment
Our doctors and nurses strive for more than just treatment or management of a disease. We want to return children to normal activities and a happy, healthy way of life. We want to minimize the effects that treatments can have on growth and development. And, we know that treating a child physically is only part of the puzzle; mental and emotional treatment is also at the center of what we do.
