Confidential and compassionate care

Children and teenagers with behavioral health needs have a special dedicated area at Novant Health Children's Hospital hospital just for them. Our skilled behavioral health professionals are dedicated to ensuring your child receives the inpatient treatment they need in a safe, confidential and compassionate environment. We also have a private, fully-licensed school on site so your child can keep up with their classes and education while in the hospital.

Partial hospitalization

Partial hospitalization is available at some locations and enables patients to receive care during the weekday and return home for nights and weekends to practice some of the skills they have learned. This program also serves as a transition from inpatient to outpatient care and provides an alternative to inpatient care for individuals who meet specific criteria.
