Mandatory requirements

Non-Novant Health worker education

Complete the required worker orientation and annual mandatory education based on your job role. When you complete the module, print and save the paperwork. You will need to provide a copy to your supervisor as proof of your completion of this education.

If your job:

• Does not require you to have contact with blood, body substances or patients: Complete the non-clinical non-Novant Health worker module.
• Requires you to have contact with blood, body substances or patients: Complete the clinicial non-Novant Health worker module.

Medication safety module

Choose the medication safety module that is appropriate for your job duties. If you:

• Prepare, dispense and administer meds (nurse, pharmacist, etc.): Complete the long version medication safety module.
• Just handle, stock, store medications, enter or verify medication orders (e.g., unit secretaries, pharmacy techs, EVS that enter rooms with IV fluids): Complete the short version medication safety module.

Annual Compliance Training (all workers)

All non-employed workers must take the following education in adherence with our compliance program.

Additional Requirements

Complete this education if required by your Novant Health manager.

• Med Sled: evacuation
• Food & nutrition services fire response procedures training
