A video visit lets you connect with your Novant Health provider from your phone, tablet or computer. Schedule your appointment in MyChart or by calling your provider's office. Before your appointment, you'll receive a secure video link to join your visit.

You can also schedule a video visit in MyChart to meet with your provider during regular office hours. Your provider will respond to let you know if a video visit is appropriate for your specific care needs. 

For non‑urgent health concerns, Online Care Messaging makes it easy to get expert support without interrupting your day. Complete a short online questionnaire in MyChart anytime, and a Novant Health provider will review your answers and send a personalized care plan through secure messaging. It’s a simple way to get care without a video visit or phone call.

Before you start your video visit:

• Get your device ready: Use a computer with a camera and microphone, or join from the MyNovant app on your mobile device.
• Choose a quiet, private space: Find a well-lit, quiet place with your camera and audio on. Don't drive or multitask during your visit.
• Stay on camera during your visit: You must remain on camera for the entire visit. If the appointment is for your child, they must stay on camera too.
• Know what to expect: Your provider will review your symptoms and recommend treatment. Some conditions need in-person care.
