AirLink medical helicopters are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to transport critical and injured patients from other facilities or transfer patients from scene-to-hospital. AirLink helicopters are licensed to operate in North and South Carolina. Our AirLink partner, Apollo, provides aircrafts, pilots and service mechanics.

Novant Health AirLink/VitaLink is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems. It is one of roughly 165 accredited programs across the United States and one of just a dozen programs with accredited BLS, ALS, ground critical care, and air medical transport services. CAMTS accreditation is a voluntary, peer review accreditation process, that ensures program adherence to international best practices & standards related to the programs, medical care, safety management system, training & education, equipment, communications, vehicles, and legal & ethical practices.
