Endovascular Interventions with Angiomax

Principal investigator:  Lance Diehl, MD, with sub-investigators – Dr. Bernard Reen and Dr. Michael Miller

What is the purpose of the study?

To demonstrate that anticoagulation with bivalirudin results in fewer major bleeding complications compare with unfractionated heparin in subjects undergoing peripheral endovascular interventions.

Who is eligible?

Patients who are candidates for peripheral endovascular interventions. The patient must meet all inclusion and none of the exclusion criteria required by the study.
