Family is at the center of everything that Mark Collins, MD, does. He and his wife have seven children, three biological and four adopted. How much his family means to him is just one of the reasons he works so hard to care for patients and their families. He loves seeing his great-grandparent patients and knowing he also cares for their great-grandchildren. Dr. Collins went to medical school for pediatrics but found that he enjoyed interaction and disease management with adults. Family medicine gives him the opportunity to work with chronic disease states and focus on wellness and prevention. Dr. Collins loves catching up with his family around the dinner table and enjoys running, riding mountain bikes and playing sports with the kids.
