Allison M. Evanoff, MD, understands that many patients associate doctors with illness. However, she believes keeping people healthy is as important as getting them well. She sees many benefits in preventive health care and wants to help patients avoid illness and identify small problems before they become larger health issues. Dr. Evanoff believes early diagnosis can have a huge impact on a patient's future. While Dr. Evanoff understands that making changes to be healthier can sometimes mean major lifestyle shifts, she wants patients to know that she practices what she preaches. She sees her own doctor regularly and she and her husband and their two sons strive to stay active and keep an eye on their health.
