I was put at ease about my upcoming procedures

Besides having to wait 30 minutes past the appointment time, we were told about the delay and it was acceptable. Dr. McCool was the best in explaining what was going on with me and what to expect in the future. Me and my wife were/are very satisfied with the outcome and are trying to figure out what to expect in our future.

Everyone was professional, friendly and treated me as an individual.

My oncologist is a WakeMed doctor and I'm extremely happy with him and my team in the WakeMed and UNC teams. I was very happy and grateful for the way Dr McCool spoke with me and explained things to me in a way I could grasp what he was saying. This man has a professional bedside manner and he made me feel good about having a care provider here.

Both DrMcCool and nurse Amy eased any concerns I had on my upcoming treatment. They are very professional, warm and above all extremely caring.

All staff and Dr Mcool were excellent. Only drawback I see is that my appointments aren't in my chart. Nor was an after visit summary. I think this is the way it was supposed to be, but would prefer my chart info!

I truly enjoyed my meeting with Dr. John McCool and his nurse Mary Kathryn. Dr. McCool was extremely thorough and detailed and took the time to explain my case and answer any questions. He's clearly extremely intelligent and knew his craft very well. To be honest, I was truly impressed with his knowledge and felt very comfortable having him as my Radiation Oncologist! Mary Kathryn was very helpful and extremely friendly and was also wonderful to deal with. I'm extremely happy with my experience so far and I'm certain as we move forward with radiation things, God willing, will go perfect as well.
