While I was in medical school, a close friend learned he had cancer. With most current treatment modalities unavailable in our country - Nepal - at the time, the disease took its toll. I witnessed the physical suffering and emotional turmoil he endured. I saw the far-reaching consequences cancer can have on people's lives, their work, their relationships.
But at the same time, I was learning about new and promising treatment...

Dr Aryal put me at ease when explaining technical information and describing cancer concerns that would normally produce a lot of anxiety. My husband, a world-ranked PhD in research methodology/ biomed consulting, was present and found Dr Aryal's collaborative style superb and willingly discussed technical aspects of the symptoms with him. I left feeling confident to have him as my physician.
