Dr. Beard is the BEST! He takes time to go over test results and explain them. He asks questions and listens to my answers. He reviews my records before my appointment and makes relevant comments on my results. He is always kind and caring.

Dr. Beard explains everything so well. He brings it to a patient level without any confusion. I have several other ongoing problems and he explained their combined effects on each other and I left feeling better about my prognosis than I have since January 2023.

Wow, it is amazing to find a practitioner who is actually smart, kind, and really listens! Extremely rare experience. I am so happy to have found Dr Beard. Dr Beard is empathetic and intrinsically understands. He is patient and takes as much time as necessary to answer all questions- large and small. Dr Beard is the BEST! He talks to me and reassures me that I’m doing well. He always updates me on my cholesterol and blood pressure that we are treating and the meds are helping. I can ask him anything and he will explain. He takes an interest in each of his patients. He makes me feel important and never rushes. Wish all my doctors were like him.

The entire staff at Novant Heart and Vascular Institute is always very helpful and friendly when I enter the building and when I check-in with the staff in Suite 200. I walk with a cane and walk very slowly and have never been rushed along to an examining room for an appointment.
