Growing up in a family of physicians shaped my path to medicine in a profound way. My father, my uncle and both of my grandfathers were physicians, and witnessing their dedication to patient care gave me an early appreciation for the privilege this work carries. I am proud to be the first physician in my family to complete all medical education and training in the United States.
