Medicine felt ingrained in my DNA since I was just a kid; I always knew I wanted to work in medicine. When I turned 18 years old, I made that dream come true when I became a certified nursing assistant. I went on to become a registered nurse and eventually received my doctorate in nursing practice as an adult-gerontological nurse practitioner. Every new educational opportunity and new position has allowed me to make an even bigger impact on my patients and their health.
