When I chose medicine as a career, I knew family medicine was just the right field for me. It allows me to care for patients of all ages, and to focus on preventive medicine. I love helping patients feel better when they are ill, but if I can prevent them from getting sick, that's even better. Whether it's providing a vaccine or suggesting a lifestyle change to positively impact their health, I find it rewarding every time I get to help a patient pave the way to a healthier, more active life.
