I was disappointed with the conversation I had with Dr. Mills. She told me I should consider losing weight and making healthier choices. This type of advice should come from my primary care physician, who has a comprehensive understanding of my health history. It was especially disheartening since a quick review of my chart would show that I've been actively working on this, including recent visits to CORELife. The insensitive way some medical staff address patients with obesity contributes to a lack of trust and is a key reason many people avoid routine care. I found it unprofessional to be lectured by a doctor I was only seeing once, especially since I've had no health complications during my pregnancy.

Loved Dr. Mills caring and calm demeanor. During what could be an over whelming experience, I was satisfied with the way Dr. Mills seemed to keep my mind at ease.
