Edith is one of the very best!

Edith, was beyond exceptional. I was impressed that she read my chart the day before my visit, updated my health summary to include previous important diagnoses. When she walked into the exam room and introduced her self as working with Dr. Hobart, this association made me feel comfortable working with her. I appreciate her taking the time to listen to my concerns, see the low heart rate readings on my blood pressure machine, make appropriate and timely recommendations for my condition which include wearing a heart monitor for one week and scheduling an Echocardiogram. I appreciate how she took the information that I provided to her (which were previous heart rate recordings) and she expounded on the idea and extended the heart rate monitoring with a heart sensor. She was excellent and very skilled in using all the information she had from my chart from the past 4 years combined with my new information and making appropriate and timely suggestions. I like the fact that when I talked to her she knew me very well (inside and out), she knew exactly who I was, thoroughly combed through my chart and was able to make a quick analyses in about 15 - 20 minutes. I have been a patient at Novant for 4 years and unfortunately, most providers are not using the greatest tool that they have which is the medical chart to understand me and my health conditions; therefore, when I learned that Edith used that tool, I was very happy. She knew me very well, even though this was our first, and I was very happy and pleased with this overall visit. What a pure treasure and true gem that you have found in Edith Mintz. Bravo.
