I received excellent care there and my problem was taken care of. That facility is a godsend.

Dr. Afanador is one of the best doctors I have ever come across. Smart, kind, efficient and actually listened to my history. He is rare and a tremendous asset for Wilmington. I feel fortunate to have seen him. The staff seems very good as well.

I am thankful for this level of care after many years in the past without it.

This was the best provide I have ever had at your urgent care. He went about and beyond to make sure I knew he cared about my well being and wanted to get me better. He listened to everything I had to say and not only went over a detailed acute treatment plan but made sure I had a long term plan in place as well. Dr. Afanador provides excellent, personalized healthcare. I discovered a lump in my breast during a self-exam and Dr. Afanador quickly helped me begin the process of getting a mammogram and a surgeon. He has always been available for appointments when I needed them and has provided valuable information that address my health and habits. I could not imagine a better physician for my family. The office and support staff are helpful and skilled.

I love I can be 100% honest and Dr A knows exactly what I’m talking about and explains it all to me. He understands. He is genuine without sugar coating anything. And my kids love him!

Routine care is great at Autumn Hall is great, Urgent care, not so much. Novant Health appointment making with specialists, biling practices, customer service in general are appalling and no place to escalate.

Everyone and everything was very efficient as I was having breathing issues. I had an appointment with Dr. Af…. At 2:00 but showed up at 11:30 as my breathing was labored. He saw me within 5 minutes. He was very honest and forthright about my condition which I appreciated. He became more aggressive with my meds and treatment plan. I am a little better today and hope to keep improving.

Dr. Afanador is the best primary I could've ever found after my previous. He's to the point but patient and I truly feel like he's listening even if he comes to a conclusion two seconds in. Always states if this continues or worsens don't hesitate to contact him. He is my family Doctor My son and his wife and several of her family members go to him and are very satisfied. He was my husband's doctor and after his death he was concerned about how I was dealing with the loss. Just to be clear he had nothing to do with his death as it was a head injury resulting from a fall which left him with brain damage. Mostly I trust him!
