This was the best new patient experience I’ve ever had

I was informed the doctor was 20 minutes late. When I arrived told them I would leave if it was longer than then they put me in a room and I waited for 45 minutes before the doctor arrived. I was not happy so I had no questions for the doctor because I had to get out of there.

Appointment was delayed by one hour......a little.too long to wait in the exam.room

FNP Barbara Wickham is terrific. She listens carefully to what I have to say about any health issues I bring up and she offers expert advice. She is also very easy to talk to and obviously cares about her patients.

This was my second visit to this office, the office is spotless, checking in was effortless, everyone I spoke to was courteous and professional.

I came to this appointment with a list of questions, and she took the time to answer all my questions and explained my abnormal lab test results. I arrived at the appointment very apprehensive because I had seen my abnormal test results online. After Barbara discussed the test results with me, I felt reassured and knew what things I could do to hopefully improve my health issues. I feel very thankful that Barbara was accepting new patients when we moved to this area. She is a real asset to our community.

I did not see the Dr until 55 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I waited in an exam room for 30 minutes.

My appointment with Barbara was very good. She was patient and listened to all I had to say. She was so supportive and helpful to me that I chose her to be my primary physician starting in February 2024 (my six month checkup).

This was an “intake” as a new patient and all I can say is so far so good. I was impressed with Barbara and hope that the personalized attention I experienced will continue as my previous provided became a factory wher I couldn’t reach them on the phone with a problem or to schedule a non scheduled appointment so I am pleasantly pleased with the personal and organization so far

Finally…an appointment with an experienced, female medical practitioner (internal medicine) with a genuine interest in her patient (me). Ms. Wickham made the time for a comprehensive intake to address my questions & concerns that have been “on hold” since moving to the area 16 months ago! I found her to be kind, empathic, appropriately personable, informative and encouraging—an answer to a long-awaited prayer.

My experience from the time I walked into the door I was greeted with smiles. Everyone there was so kind and compassionate. Dr Wickham what's the best experience I have ever had with any medical facility. I actually felt like a patient and that I mattered! I didn't feel like I was sitting in a an assembly line. Barbara was very thorough and took all the time we needed to listen and make a referral for my needs.

She was not very personable. I explained why I was there and when I responded to her question I had a lengthy answer and she acted bored during it and did not give eye contact. I told her as part of my answer that my daughter had a disease that required my physical well being to help her and she was not at all interested in the disease when I told her about it. She said no I have never heard of it. I do t expect every doctor to k is about every disease but she showed no emotion when I told her it had no cure or treatment. My daughter has 8 specialists and has seen well o we 50 doctors in her 10 years with the disease and this women was one of the few who showed NO COMPASSION and even worse NO INTEREST in taking this opportunity to educate herself. She is a PA and I am going to bring this to the attention to my regular doctor in the practice. I will not see her again.
