Growing up with parents in medicine exposed me to healthcare early on, and that shaped my path to becoming a neurosurgeon. Working with my hands has always come naturally to me - woodworking has been an interest of mine outside the operating room for years - and neurosurgery gave me a way to bring that same precision and focus to patient care.

Dr Hnilica is the type of Neurosurgeon you want and wish others were like. Easy to speak with, goes over the details of the scans and is willing to discuss treatment options instead of just telling you it's his way or the highway. I've referred my colleagues and friends to Dr Hnilica and will continue to do so. Having myself been in Neurosurgery for 31 years I know who and what is good!
