There is a way that a doctor can recognize that some concerns are a direct result of aging, but at the same time help you realize where these things are the result of aging; some other treatable circumstance; or treatment to slow progression. Dr. Karwowski helped me feel (by actually saying) that she was there to help me take care of my health. Currently I am able to advocate for myself and I do want to do what I can to slow down or minimize the debilitating effects of aging.
