About
My path to neurosurgery was shaped by both a personal calling and lived experience. From an early age, I wanted to be able to do something good for people in their hardest moments, to show up for them when they needed it most. That desire first took me into emergency medicine, where I worked as an emergency medical technician and then a paramedic. The hands-on, procedure-based nature of that work drew me in completely, and it was a natural progression to move into surgery.
