My interest in nutrition began when I was young. As a child, I had to make changes to my own diet that ultimately allowed my body to heal. Rather than feeling limited by what I could no longer eat, I felt empowered by the options I discovered. That experience has stayed with me and shapes everything I do as a registered dietitian.

This was a very helpful visit for me. I'm a new Diabetic and it helped me to understand how to manage my diet. However, I feel a group class might be more beneficial as others might bring different questions to the table that I might not have thought about. Being new to Nutrition Changes having a group support could be helpful.
