It was a very good meeting!

She was brusque to the point of rudeness. I left feeling like I had been an inconvenience. I hope to never have to deal with her again.

Ms. Smart was wonderful - she listened to me and gave quick common sense comments, answering all my questions. I was extremely impressed with her!!!!

She was clearly educated on her field. However, when I started talking about my scoliosis she immediately cut me off and said well let's not jump to a scoliosis dx. I didn't actually get to tell my whole journey with back and joint pain which includes my problems being minimized my entire life to the point where I am finally getting diagnosed at 28. And upon assessing me says "oh yeah there is a slight curve". I did come in at the end of the day so I'll accept the not wanting to have a long discussion. But, every time I tried to explain why as soon as the urgent care doc said scoliosis I knew that's what it was, my story was minimized. She said multiple times not to jump to the diagnosis, meanwhile I've been struggling with pain since I was 13. Just for the xray to show scoliosis, and for the films to be almost identical to the xrays I got at urgent care when she said "well they didn't take scoliosis film". They were at the same angle, same position and all. Then she prescribed robaxin telling me I can take it during the day because it's a non-drowsy med. Wrong. It does work better than the last muscle relaxer prescribed to me so I wont harp on that too much. Her bedside manner was poor and any care she did show seemed fake. I plan on rescheduling with a different provider prior to my follow up.
