About
After growing up in a small town in the North Carolina mountains, I spent two years in the western African country of Mali. Serving there as a missionary doing medical clinics and food distributions made me understand the need for accessible medical care. From a young age, I had known I was interested in science and anatomy, but it was that experience in Mali that drove me to become a physician assistant.
