My path to medicine is deeply personal. When I was in high school, my mother died after a long struggle with premenopausal breast cancer. That experience shaped me in ways I'm still discovering. I have always been fascinated by our bodies and minds, and I've been drawn to healing for as long as I can remember. Losing her only deepened that pull.
