About

I didn't always know I wanted to be in the medical field, as others may have. But once I found it, I couldn't see myself anywhere else. I love helping my patients feel better and being part of their healthcare journeys.

My approach to healthcare is collaborative. I like to see my patients involved in their care and in the decision-making around it. I believe "the patient knows best" is a true statement. Their input should always be part of the plan.

Collaborating with my colleagues is an imp...

The whole appointment with Dr. Megan felt extremely rushed, she didn't even really give us a chance to speak. I felt very dismissed when I gave my concerns and asked Questions. Her responses to most of my questions were, "the MFM will take care of that". I felt there was zero sympathy or empathy for our prior experiences and problems; Dr. Megan didn't want to see any of my previous lab test results or hear about what I had been through in the last year, which I feel is significant to treatment moving forward. There were things in my after visit summary that she said she discussed with me, but hadn't discussed with me. I had many questions that I felt were unanswered when we left and I am hoping the MFM appointment will be better able to answer the many questions I still have. Overall I felt unheard, invalidated and dismissed.
