I hold Dr. Maurais in the highest of regards. After the surgery, as I began to feel better, I decided on my own what my best course of action should be. As it turned out, I was completely wrong. She really chastised me, and rightfully so. She did it in a stern, yet respectful ? way. Because of that I respect her immensely. Novant is blessed to have her on its team. I think she's totally awesome?

I was in a lot of pain and I needed relief. The doctor came in and talked to me about my situation. She looked at my chart to make sure the medication she was giving me did not interfere with other meds and what was concern she contacted my primary to ensure that It was ok. The help she gave me was on point. I felt better in the next couple days.

Dr. Maurais was wonderful. She asked a lot of questions about my symptoms, listened to me carefully, reviewed the x-rays thoroughly with me, and gave me lots of detailed information regarding how to treat my symptoms conservatively. I couldn't ask for anything more and wouldn't have changed a thing about my visit. The support staff were also great!

I felt like the nursing staff and receptionist was very professional feel like all and everyone cared about. My personal needs and thank you all so very much when I leave I feel so much better.

As I stated to Doctor, I’ve been seen by VA and Baptist and they both overlooked issue. She gave advice and options for me to choose if it fits in my wheelhouse.

I wanted to know the state of my condition. Dr. Maurais was not vague in her reply. In a courteous manner, she explained my condition to me in detail, and then made sure I fully understood the information she had given me. I would recommend Dr. Maurais without hesitation.
