Maybe it's because that's how she was trained by Novant but when I asked some questions about my health towards the end of the visit the provider was very quick to tell me that my concerns would be cared for by PCP. I let her know that I was hoping this OB office would/could be it and she looked and and answered me with a face a disbelief. No one likes to be talked to like they're stupid. I work in healthcare and I try hard to never be condescending and dignify my patient's questions
