I cannot say enough wonderful things about Emily Krupa, genetic counselor at Novant Health. From the moment we met, she was incredibly kind, passionate and genuinely supportive. She took the time to explain everything so clearly and thoroughly that I walked away feeling truly informed and empowered. Honestly, after this appointment, I feel like I could be a genetic counselor myself!Emily created a safe, welcoming space where I felt comfortable asking questions and discussing concerns. Thanks to her expertise and encouragement, I now feel confident taking charge of my cancer risk and even sharing what I've learned with my friends and family. That level of empowerment is priceless. As a side note, the office itself was delightful - calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. Even the chairs were comfortable and made me feel safe and secure, which only added to the overall experience. If you are considering genetic counseling, I wholeheartedly recommend Emily Krupa. This was an exception experience from start to finish.

I liked Emily Krupa quite a bit. I did not feel rushed, she answered all of my questions and made me feel heard, understood and comfortable.

Emily was very good with listening to all of my concerns and questions as well as her explanation of what the generic testing would reveal.
