Lakeside Family Physicians in Cornelius is the clinic to which I always go. I was very happy with my experience during my last two appointments, once to see the doctor and the second, a day later, for x-ray. Dr. Chapman is excellent. He is clearly engaged with the patient's concern, addresses the problem thoroughly, and proceeds accordingly. What a fine addition he is to the medical personnel at this clinic!

Dr. Chapman went over my procedure in detail and showed me pictures of the procedure to help me understand the recovery period and he assured me that I was progressing well. The gentleman who helped me with my intake was great. Extra points for laughing at a stupid joke I made. Dr. Chapman was thorough, empathetic, and encouraging. Understood that minimizing risk from my family medical history and improving my future health was my priority. Definitely appreciated that. Nurse Mel was great too. Hands down the best doctor I’ve worked with…literally in my whole life. I told him my health goals, I asked him questions, and we talked about strategies for optimizing my health going forward. It’s the first time where I felt like a doctor was listening to what I want to accomplish, not just trying to address some acute issue without getting to the root cause. I’ll refer only some of my friends to him, as if word gets out how good he is, I may have trouble getting good appointment times

Dr. Chapman was very thorough in his examination. He dealt with the problem that brought me there originally, but discovered that I had another issue of which I was unaware. He made arrangements for me to see a specialist in cardiology to deal with that issue. His thorough examination revealed a situation that needs prompt attention. I’m very grateful for his concern. All the staff in the office should be commended for their professionalism.

This was the best experience that I have ever had at this location. The wait for an appointment was very short. When I arrived, there was no wait to check in and only a brief wait to be seen by the nurse and doctor. The doctor listened to my concerns and answered my questions.
