Me and my husband visited Dr Angela Carrero for the fist time as new patients and she took plenty of time to hear our health history, asked questions, showed interest in our concerns and recommended treatment. We were very satisfied with our first visit.

I love Dr. Carrero. She is so very kind and compassionate. She is patient when I am describing my concerns and always interacts in the conversation with her medical knowledge. Dr. Carrero never dismisses my concerns and worries and always talks things through until I am more at ease. She is very professional, but never forgets that she is dealing with a person, not a number on her busy schedule. She is very special and I am thankful that I found her!

The wait time for a scheduled appointment was unacceptable . I wasn’t seen for almost an hour after my appointment time . Walkins came and went before me . The doctor was not prepared when she walked in the room. She had my history completely wrong . I had to correct her about serious things like my recent cancer diagnosis . She was obviously very busy and just moving through the appointments. Did not feel like this is a place I want handling my health. When asked if it is always like this I was told yes by the office staff. Will be looking elsewhere for a PCP.

She actually read up on my history which is extensive, I explained what doctor took care of what problem, It was a first appointment, she worked me in, sent her message about bloodwork, picked it up immediately and adjusted my dose of medication, I cannot believe how fast Novant gets your bloodwork and messages.

Great visit with Dr Carrero. She answered all my questions provided additional information for me to try. I enjoy my visits with her she has compassion and great bedside manner.

If the office knows blood tests are going to be required at the appointment, I recommend a message to the patient to be reminded too fast if applicable. I looked to see what tests weee going to be taken and realized I needed to fast. The check in process was quick but seems repetitive. They ask the same questions I completed during the e-check in days before.

Front desk team was not friendly or welcoming. Walk in appt should not get priority over patients with an appt.

Dr Carrea, is a great human. She is a good doctor. I appreciate your personal care. Although everyone is busy I feel Dr Carrero is listening and patience.
