I am one of only a few Charlotte surgeons whose medical training includes a dual fellowship in hepatobiliary (liver, pancreas and bile duct) surgery and surgical oncology (cancer surgery). This means I focus on care for individuals with liver, pancreas, biliary, stomach, neuroendocrine, sarcomas, ovarian and peritoneal disease. Dr Latchana was incredibly caring, concerned and informative. He listened to what we all said and answered all of our questions with a truthfulness that was kind as well. He laid out my options and explained why or why not a particular option would pertain to my situation. Extremely helpful and explained everything in a manner that was easy to understand.
