I always recommend Dr Johnson but he is no longer accepting new patients

Dr Johnson is a great doctor - he cares and listens. His staff is the same way - listen and lets the doctor know if there is something I forgot to mention. Short wait time - means a lot.

These statements really don't reflect the nature of the visit. This was an annual Medicare check which is minimal in nature. Because I was a new patient for Dr. Johnson I was not able to have bloodwork prior to the visit which would have been something to discuss at that time. There were some questions asked from my paperwork but I'm generally in good health so any treatments that could have been discussed are really covered by other practices (dermatology, ENT). My visit with Dr. Johnson was fine. He is pretty laid back and easy going, which I appreciate, but I didn't get a sense that he was going to manage care as a primary doctor used to do. This may be a function of how Novant operates, but in years past, the primary care doctor received reports from outside providers (dermatology, ENT) and discussed those results looking at the big picture. The visit today was more like a one and done.

Love Novont my problem is with Dr. Johnson. He's very indecisive on his treatment.
