I wanted to switch to Dr. Johnson because I am looking for someone who blends holistic and western medicine and according to his bio, he does. When I asked him about the holistic he said "I try". He did give some suggestions for holistic remedies for reflux but like many supplements, there is a potential interaction with blood thinners, which he did not seem to notice. I come from MA where a physical (and I realize this wasn't one) was extremely inclusive - examining eyes, ears, throat, pressing on internal organs, reflux test (not the acid kind). I've noticed in NC this doesn't seem to be the case, which he confirmed. These are not typically done unless there are symptoms present.
