When I was in kindergarten, we had a class assignment to draw a picture of what we saw ourselves doing when we grew up. I drew a picture of a nurse and teacher on roller skates. Although my day-to-day life as a primary care physician doesn't involve actual roller skates, it does involve a lot of multitasking as I care for my patients. Teaching them along the way is something I find equally rewarding.
