I was born and raised in south Florida. I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Florida and my medical degree at the University of Central Florida. I traded Florida's hot summers for Chicago's famously cold winters when I went on to complete my neurology residency and a clinical multiple sclerosis (MS) and neuroimmunology fellowship at the University of Chicago. I'm ecstatic to be back on the East Coast, now that I'm living and practicing in Wilmington, North Carolina...
