Dr. Foulkes is absolutely incredible. He has treated me this past year for Polycythemia and always spent time with me to explain causes, treatment and what I needed to do. I honestly could not have asked for a better doctor. As I left this last appointment, he even gave me a hug to say goodbye, which really made my visit even better. It is rare to see such compassion and caring from a doctor but Dr. Foulkes has always been wonderful. Novant has some of the best care professionals I have ever seen.

Dr Foulke is retiring so I would not recommend only for that reason.

I would've liked the doctor to have done a little more background research regarding all the tests that we've done prior to sitting down with me for the final consultation. Understandably, He can't possibly remember every single patient in every test we've done so a little study time before the appointment would've been appreciated. That said, as I told the doctor, the entire staff, including him have been very, very thorough and determined in trying to figure out what's causing the anomaly in my blood work

Every time I have seen Dr Foulke he has listened to my concerns, been thorough in assessing the problem and explained what was next in words I could understand. I would highly recommend him to others. Unfortunately he is retiring in July.

Dr. Foulke is very thorough and caring. He gets to the root cause of the patient's issue.
