Growing up in the South, I saw firsthand how deeply diabetes and obesity affected individuals, families, and entire communities. That personal connection sparked my interest in medicine and ultimately led me to pursue endocrinology. Early in my medical training, I became fascinated by the intricate hormonal pathways that regulate metabolism, and this quickly became the focus of both my clinical and research interests.

Dr. Raghaven is a very fine doctor. She is kind and thoughtful. She has a "treat the whole patient" attitude, which I appreciate. She works hard to help me be the best that I can be healthwise. I am never hurried while we are talking, and I leave understanding all that has been explained. I cannot say enough good things about her.
