After graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy and serving four years on active duty, I enrolled in medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina. I wanted to go into medicine because it allowed me to combine my love of science with my passion to help others and I specialized in obstetrics and gynecology because I love being involved in women's health.

Dr. Ray took the time to talk to me about my personal life, listen to my concerns, talk through my options and future planning, and truly made me feel heard.
