Before I ever set foot in a nursing school, I had already built a life full of learning. I earned degrees in French language and educational psychology and even became a certified flight instructor. But it was the years I spent caring for some of the most critically ill patients in cardiac and intensive care units that made me certain I wanted to be the person patients turn to for answers, guidance and a care plan.
