This was my first visit with Dr. Akin. She was warm, engaging, and knowledgeable and did not make me feel rushed. She answered all of my questions and provided helpful insights for my overall care. Dr. Bohmer referred me to Dr. Akin and he did not disappoint in providing me with a great doctor in his stead.

Dr. Akin was incredibly kind throughout my appointment and checked in with my wellbeing several times. She also allowed me time to decompress and regather myself after the appointment was over. I felt safe and comfortable with her care.

It did seem a bit quick but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing as it was just a pap.

Best appointment ever! The Dr. Was kind and even though I was terrified she helped me through everything the nurses were AMAZING too one even offered to hold my hand! I was very impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the check-in staff. They really deserve recognition ( or perhaps a lunch or a treat from Novant?) for going above and beyond expectations. Haley is pure gold as a practitioner, she sits with you listening to concerns never cutting you off mid-sentence as most unfortunately do. She treats you with dignity and respect and offers safe alternatives
