About

I was initially drawn to the field of endocrinology because it allowed me to manage different and complex disorders and establish meaningful, long-term relationships with patients. Then, during my endocrinology fellowship, my mother was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. This firsthand experience with the patient and family journey, while difficult, allowed me to develop a deeper, more empathetic understanding, which I still carry today in my clinical work.

I love Dr. Eisenburg. She is so caring and she educates you so you know exactly what is happening in your body when you take hormones. She notifies of the effects and reassures you of concerns. She's also very accepting of my transition.
