The staff were great and very professional. Jay was great and explained different possibilities contributing to my situation. He was through and did a fantastic job.

Jay Arieno, PA, for Dr. Ramage was attentive, very detailed, asked all pertinent questions regarding my medical history, current medical issues and offered and scheduled solutions to resolve.

Jay was very knowledgeable and obviously had years of experience. However, I entered the appointment with significant concerns and previous bad experiences related to past colonoscopy preps. I needed to discuss options and best practice. When I shared my concerns, Jay seemed frustrated with my questioning and insistent manner. I kept asking the same question over and over which he talked around but didn't seem to want to answer. Finally he told me a clear liquid diet will not work because it doesn't clean the bowel, even if it lasts for weeks. I now understood the reasons for my limited options. If he had explained that sooner our discussion would have been shorter. I like to be included in decisions about my health care with a discussion and reasons why. I needed to ask many questions to accurately determine my needs. I felt Jay's seeming frustration with me led me to stop asking questions. I have not always received appropriate medical care in past history and have concerns about NOT asking enough questions to procure what I need to advocate for myself. Did Jay do a good job telling me the information I needed? Eventually, yes. But I can't say I felt heard throughout the interview. Not sure we work well together.

My PA was fabulous! He is so very thorough, professional and knowledgeable. I know that I am in good hands with him and was delighted to meet my new Gastro PA. I would give him 5 stars! Highly recommend to anyone!

Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Staff were helpful and professional. James was particularly detail oriented. He spent time talking and explaining things with me. He was professional and helpful too.

Jay was thorough in exam, honest when there was not an answer, and got me into the endoscopy program within 2 days. Couldn't be more pleased.

It was a good experience. Dr James even called later in the evening to give further advice. Who does that anymore!

Everyone was so polite & very nice. They made me feel very comfortable. The phlebotomist was very kind and caring, courteous & we had a few laughs when she was getting ready & during blood draw. ??

Everyone there is always friendly and curious. I have MS and can no longer move very fast and they always stay with me at my pace which I appreciate.

This appointment was a completely different experience than my last appointment there. It was nice to be heard.
