This provider was extremely interested in exploring and fully understanding my background experiences before deciding to move forward. When I explained my past problems with reactions to medications, she was careful to manage my dosages to hopefully minimize those issues this time. She made me feel very confident and comfortable that she would strive to help me solve my ongoing labile hypertension problems.

I did not feel comfortable after I left, had to wait a week for echo with heart rate of 149 naseau and dizziness. They did ekg and she just said well it looked ok with a question voice. I feel that if you cannot provide secondary tests then you need to order from the hospital so the patient can get peace of mind

Jennifer Harris-Barker provided me with all of the information that I needed to make a decision as to my next procedure. She listened carefully and gave me explanations for the activity on my Stress test results and heart monitor results. I previously did not receive any interpretation of my results and had to schedule this appointment to get the information I needed. I received my test results in MyChart and then received a message asking if I wanted to schedule a Catheterization procedure...without any feedback about my results!!! How could I make a decision without knowing what I was dealing with? Grateful for the clear information provided by J. Harris-Barker.

Everyone was so nice and helpful and my physician was very professional and courteous. And in tune with my needs and concerns.

Our provider was knowledgeable and gave us excellent information, but she spoke very fast. Because of my husband’s aphasia post-2022 CVA, I requested that she slow down. We had not met her before and she did not introduce herself…. and I interrupted her to ask her name. After a few minutes, we felt more connected with her. Her information was very helpful, but we just needed more time to process the information.

The quality of care far exceeds anything I would have expected. I spent 42 years as a pharmacist here and in the Bay Area. We feel extremely safe with Novant.

Everyone is pleasant

My experience with Jennifer was very good. She explained everything to me more than anyone else has so far. She was very helpful. As for the rest of the practice not so much. I received my pre-op instructions a WEEK after I had the procedure done. My follow-up appointment was rescheduled twice in a week. One of the surgeons notes indicated that they talked with me and my family about cardiac rehab.. No one talked with me about that. That being said I do have confidence in Jennifer. Pretty disappointed in the rest of it.
