Seeing Dr. Shenin five years ago was the best thing I ever did. For five years now I’ve been gout free. It’s amazing. He has me on the right meds and haven’t had an episode since I’ve seen him.

This was my first visit with Dr. Shenin. I have been trying to deal with some issues & once I spoke to Dr. Shenin I felt a huge sense of relief. He not only listened but he immediately talked to me about what he thought would be the best plan to move forward. He also made sure I was comfortable with everything he was suggesting. I was amazed at how much I learned from him during my first visit since I had been with another Rheumatologist for four & a half years & never received any suggestions similar to what I received with my first visit with Dr. Shenin. Dr. Shenin was superb in handling my handicapped son. He treats him with respect and asks probing questions to ensure everything is going well. In yesterday’s visit he went the extra mile in ordering a chest x ray for my son who had Covid a few weeks ago. After reviewing the x ray he had his staff schedule a CT scan and followed up with us and my son’s pcp to ensure my son was receiving the best treatment for his condition.

The front staff at check in and check out were extremely nice and polite. This welcoming attitude when you enter the office starts off your visit and ends it in a great way. The doctor answered all questions I had and we agreed on my treatment plan going forward. The staff was also very helpful, and friendly.

I am starting to feel very rushed at my appointments lately. I have recently sustained 3 vertebral fractures and wanted to discuss my condition at greater length. I felt like no matter how much Dr Shenin may have wanted to extend our visit, he was to limited by Novant guidelines to do so. ???
