It was a quick recheck visit for my 94 year old Mom. She was treated respectfully and Dr Chalavadi made sure my Mom understood everything before we left.

To me, Dr. Lakshmi Chalavadi is an excellent doctor for Sr Citizens. She is warm, very knowledgeable, supportive, yet firm. She explains your condition, and if necessary arranges additional testing, prescribes medicines and offers suggestions for improving your health. Yet she appreciates that people often have ideas of their own as to their treatment and allows the patient to make suggestions and participate in planning their routines and treatment for their health and care. She thereby creates a team approach for managing the person's health and well being. I am pleased that Dr. Lakshmi Chalavadi is the doctor for both me and my husband.

One new thing that happened this visit: When I was waiting in the waiting room to be called, the doctor's nurse did not stand at the entrance door to the care area and call my name; rather, she came out in the waiting area and walked up to me where I was sitting and said my name (I had not met her previously).
