My father was a doctor, and I decided when I was just 5 years old that I wanted to be one, too. I chose family medicine because it gives me the opportunity to meet and care for a wide variety of people and establish long-term relationships with them.

When it comes to treating illness, I present all the options for care and help the patient decide the best approach for them. I try not to push my opinion onto them, as I believe patients should be in charge of their healthcare.
