The staff, nurse, and Doctor was very professional. Dr. Avin was easy to talk to and he explained the procedure and answered all my questions.

My daughter attended the appointment with me. She also had questions about family generations history. Dr. Avin ILan also answered all of her questions explaining the difference between my issue and other family members issues. We were both happy after the visit and we both liked him. Everyone was really nice and patient with me

The staff was great. The Dr was running behind and I received a call first thing in the morning letting me know. He was still running late once I got there but the nurse and front desk staff were very accommodating and kept me informed. I certainly understand the challenges with keeping things running on time. They handled everything very well. Doctor Avin was very apologetic and accommodating as well.

On a scale of 1 to 10, Dr Avin rates a 20. Great technical skills and great people skills. I felt listened to, and part of a thoughtful plan to get me to better health. Very down to earth, my surgery went very well, recovery has been uneventful (though I was well prepared for possible hiccups) and I am very appreciative of his skills. The support staff in the Matthews office is also very nice - they smile and treat me like a real person, unlike some of other Novant practices where the staff seems more harried and/or bored. It’s been the same people each time, which speaks well of the practice.
