I like Dr. Sawyers straight forwardness and his concern. He is easy to talk to and very professional. He really cares for his patients. He makes you feel like his main concern is about you.His staff are friendly and professional.

This was my first appointment with Dr Sawyer and it was a very informative and pleasant experience.

I appreciated my provider saying that he doesn’t “ just recommend a pacemaker.” He wants to be certain there is a need by doing more test. This tell’s me that he cares about his patients. We need more doctors like him.

The Aide who did the initial sceening had very little personify. Almost being rude. Dr Sawyer was very efficient but never looked at me. He was with me maybe 5 minutes. I felt rushed. I felt no better about the condition that brought me there after I left than when I came.

This was an extremely poor first and new patient visit from start-to-finish. Check in was curt, the nurse was rude and despite multiple attempts of letting her know the patient could not hear due to hearing loss, she made no attempt to communicate differently. The doctor was extremely rude, dismissive of our family’s concerns and made us feel ignorant with our questions. While he is very knowledgeable and experienced, his bedside manner and patient care created an environment where or family does not trust the recommendations or treatment plan.

Dr. David Sawyer was the absolute greatest!!. He gave detailed information concerning my care and listened to all our questions. I have been very negligent about my health in keeping up with appointments. He didn't judge me, but gave specific instructions what to do going forward. I look forward to my next appointment in 3 months to show him my improvements.

Dr. Sawyer and his staff (front desk, medical assistant and nurse) were great. I was late, but they worked with me and were all very gracious. Dr. Sawyer explained test results and answered my questions very thoroughly. We reviewed potential treatments and referral to a vascular surgeon. I left the appointment with a specific plan that I feel very comfortable with.

The Cardiologist assigned to my wife was very professional and very through. He had studied the medical records we sent to Novant and we discussed my wifes medical history and current conditions. The doctor ordered labs, cardiac testing and referred a doctor for her PAD. We have already reviewed my wife’s lab results and medication adjustments based on those results. Dr Sawyer will be my wife’s Cardiologist and mine .

Professional health care at it's best

I arrived at least 20 minutes ahead of my appointment and was taken right in for my EKG. I was seen by Dr Sawyer and left the building just past my scheduled appointment time- so nice to have prompt service

I always feel heard whenever I mention any concerns and I never feel talked down to or made to feel uncomfortable by asking any questions. My doctor always asks me if there’s anything else I would like to discuss and he’s always willing to address anything I am concerned about . My experience with the front of house staff as well as those on the phone was great! My experience with the nurse and provider was not. The nurse provided no explination as to what she was doing to me at the begining of the appointment which was uncomfortable, and she also provided little explination at the end of the appointment as well. She handed me papers and showed me the door. I was unaware of how my two follow-up tests were to be scheduled. I do not feel that the doctor listened to my concerns. He seemed to be in a rush to throw rapid fire cardiology terms at me and did not let me fully articulate my concerns. I felt like I was brushed off and pushed out the door.

One of the many nice thing about Dr Sawyer is he listens to you and he doesn’t talk down to you. You feel respected.

Dr. Sawyer listed carefully to me and responded appropriately. I was happy with the care he gave me.

Dr. Sawyer reviewed my heart history before I even arrived to my visit. He tweaked my medications, called for labs and his office swiftly set up heart test for me. I am impressed.

Dr. Sawyer has been my Cardiologist for many years. When my previous Cardiologist left the practice, I chose Dr. Sawyer because I was very familiar with him. He was my mother’s doctor before she passed. I took her to her appointments with Dr. Sawyer and I liked how well he treated and tended to her. Therefore, as stated before, when my previous Cardiologist left the practice, I knew I wanted Dr. David Sawyer to be my Cardiologist. I’ve never regretted this decision.

Nothing else left to say, everything was just great.

The facility is very nice and clean. The staff was quick and courteous getting me checked in. My nurse went over everything with me and ask questions. Dr. Sawyer came in shortly and explained every detail to me and his recommendations. Which I totally agree. His attention was on me the patient and our next steps to take going forward to get definte answers.

Everyone was wonderful except the nurse that gave my dad the EKG. She was not very friendly. She didn't smile, she acted as if she was not in a good mood at all and when she removed the stickers from my dad, she was rough with him and she knew it hurt and never once offered an apology or anything, she just kept snatching.

Dr. Sawyer is a great doctor who treats me with respect. Easy to talk to and actually listens. Reception and Stephanie were both kind and courteous and knew what they were doing.
