While I am technically a Charlotte native, I spent most of my youth in Austria and Australia. I have always loved science, and at the age of 16 I was able to start volunteering at a local rescue squad which spurred my interest in medicine. After graduating college and while applying to medical school, I worked as a medical assistant at an OB-GYN clinic. Devin was remarkable! She listened to my concerns and made me feel heard. She was VERY thorough going over my current medications as she was considering adding an additional medication. There was only 1 that wouldn't cause adverse affects. She also gently recommended therapy but left the decision up to me. She is a wonderful, gentle and caring provider. I am fortunate to have found her.

Dr Mijares is wonderful. I went to see her frustrated about my previous experience with another OB at a different Novant clinic, and she understood my frustration. She has since then followed up with me personally and kept me updated about my results along the way. She is very personable and knowledgable. I am so glad I went to see her and her team.
